Fun! Hundreds of SG Employees Wearing Traditional Clothes in the 79th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony at Omah SG Rembang Factory
Rembang, August 19th, 2024 – In celebrating the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Semen Gresik held a Flag Ceremony to hold various competitions and blood donors in the Company.
On August 17th, 2024, it began with a flag ceremony which was attended directly by the President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, while conduct as the inspector of the ceremony and the Director of Finance & Human Resources, Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, followed by all employees in the parking lot of Omah SG Rembang Factory (17/8).
In the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia ceremony, hundreds of participants wore traditional clothes and authentic Indonesian batik with various characteristics of each.
In the mandate of the ceremony, President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, invited all Semen Gresik people to make this Independence Day commemoration as a spirit of '45 in contributing to the progress of the country and the sustainability of the company.
According to him, to face the domestic and global economic climate in 2024, the company must continue to prepare with appropriate strategies in dealing with various market industry dynamics for the sustainability of the company and stronger corporate performance.
“Alhamdulillah, according to the data for the first semester of 2024, the company's performance has increased significantly year on year from last year. This achievement is supported by an increase in sales volume and operational performance,” he explained.
He continued, the management of PT Semen Gresik thanked and gave extraordinary appreciation to all employees as well as various parties who contributed. “The smart work and hard work of employees so far have succeeded in supporting optimal results. We are sure, we will be able to carve out other successes together for the progress of the company,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Manager of Communication & CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Sulistyono, added that in commemorating the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Semen Gresik also held various competitions and blood donation actions in the company environment.
The competitions that were held in the Omah SG area included sarong relay competitions, water-filled glass relay, putting nails in bottles, pouring water into glasses, cantol hats, and earth nails.
“Still in the moment of August, through the OASE community in synergy with the Rembang Regency PMI, held a blood donation action to successfully supply 112 bags of blood to the Rembang PMI,” he said.
“Hopefully, in addition to commemorating the great day of independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the competition can also be a place to strengthen friendship and intimacy between employees in all areas in the environment of Semen Gresik Rembang factory,” he concluded.
